Self-amalgamating insulating tape – 5 m x 25 mm – max. 25 kV – black Handy 11068

This high-quality, self-fusing high-voltage insulating tape is an ideal solution for primary or repair insulation of cables and wires up to 25 kV. The tape is made of a special ethylene-propylene rubber that bonds to itself (self-vulcanizing), requiring no adhesive and offering extremely easy application. Its elongation and heat resistance allow reliable use even in extreme environmental conditions. Suitable for primary or restorative insulation and sealing of cables, wires and cable joints. For increased protection against external influences, application of a PVC insulating tape as a final outer layer is recommended.

Instructions for use:
Before starting work, remove the protective liner. Slightly stretch the insulating tape while wrapping it around the cable to be insulated, overlapping each layer by approximately 1/3. To prevent unwinding due to external influences, it is strongly recommended to apply a PVC insulating tape as a protective outer layer.
